On sait déjà que les trois Samsung Galaxy S20 seront annoncés le 11 février prochain, et pour cause : Samsung prévoit une conférence Galaxy Unpacked à cette date. Si l’on a appris récemment les tarifs attendus pour les différents modèles, de nouvelles informations nous ont été communiquées au sujet de la date de lancement des smartphones en France.
Selon les informations concordantes de plusieurs de nos sources, les Samsung Galaxy S20 seront lancés en France un mois après la présentation officielle à San Francisco, soit le 13 mars prochain. Une attente particulièrement longue, même pour Samsung. À titre de comparaison, les Galaxy S10 de l’an dernier avaient été officialisés le 20 février avant une commercialisation deux semaines et demie plus tard, le 8 mars. On notera par ailleurs que le leaker Ishan Agarwal a indiqué il y a quelques jours que le lancement des smartphone était « probablement » prévu pour le 13 mars.
Enfin, rappelons que le Galaxy S10 avait lancé sur tous les marchés simultanément, de quoi laisser penser que son successeur suivra le même schéma, avec un lancement mondial le 13 mars. Toujours d’après nos sources, la période de précommande s’étalera du 11 février au 13 mars.
Un prix plancher à 900 euros et des versions 4G et 5G
Par ailleurs, nos sources viennent également confirmer les prix en France des Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+ et S20 Ultra tels que déjà annoncés par Max Weinbach du site XDA Developers. Ainsi, le Samsung Galaxy S20 sera commercialisé en France à « plus de 900 euros », le Galaxy S20+ à « plus de 1000 euros » et le Galaxy S20 Ultra à « plus de 1300 euros ». Des prix planchers qui devraient être ceux des modèles avec les configurations les plus légères en termes de mémoire et de stockage.
Par ailleurs, deux des trois smartphones seront déclinés en deux modèles, y compris pour la France, avec une version 4G et un modèle 5G. Seul le Galaxy S20 Ultra ne sera proposé qu’en version 5G. Pour le Galaxy S20 et le Galaxy S20+, il est prévu une différence de 100 euros entre le modèle 4G, plus accessible, et le modèle 5G. Nous avons contacté Samsung afin d’en savoir davantage. Pour le moment, aucun modèle 4G n'a fuité donc ils seront tous en 5G comme argument marketing.
